Sumit had a plan and I was excited to be a part of it. When he described how he would bring his girlfriend to Memorial Union at UW-Madison and serenade her at the piano I was both enthusiastic about documenting such a special moment, and wary that the camera might be a distraction. All of Sumit’s plans were perfect though and his proposal was one of the most romantic moments I have had the honor to capture. I could not help but tear up when they embraced, and shortly after when their parents and family entered to offer joyous congratulations.
