The love between Sal and Rachel is electric. They contacted us requesting both a sophisticated engagement photo session in downtown Milwaukee and a more casual shoot highlighting where they first met while students on UW-Milwaukee’s campus. Quickly ideas for such a shoot started to fly. We took them to some of our favorite outdoor spots through Milwaukee’s artsy Third Ward including along the Riverwalk, textured alleyways, and a short stop at Collectivo Coffee. We finished up our afternoon session enjoying the beautiful fall colors while walking through UW-M’s campus. We are so excited to share their couple’s session and cannot wait to capture their big day next year.
The pouring rain could not keep people away from Madison Central Public Library‘s pre-reopening party, Stacked. With online tickets selling out, there was a line out the door. The Central Library’s previous community celebration in the empty building, Bookless, set a high bar, and I was excited that Stacked was just as creative and fun! Live music, DJ’s, art installations, craft beers & craft-making, the return of the Oracle! – and a chance to explore this great new space.
What better way to enjoy Wisconsin as the summer slowly winds down than spending some time out on the farm? Apple picking at Door Creek Orchard, a farm fresh meal at Lightyears Tables and quality time with good friends have made this September a month to remember.
Enjoy!
